World leader in spark plugs to support drag race series for 2012 season

SYCAMORE, ILLINOIS (November 28, 2011) – One of the world’s largest and most popular names in motorsport instrumentation will be returning to the Pro Modified Racing Association and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series as a Contingency sponsor for 2012.
Auto Meter Products, manufacturers of a wide range of automotive and racing instruments, will provide contingency awards for both drag race series at all events for the upcoming season.
Auto Meter has been a part of the popular drag race series since 2006.

Partnership with Global Emissions Systems will lead to a cleaner environment with emissions reduction incentives for drag race series
WHITBY, ONTARIO (August 13, 2011) – The Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series is taking positive steps in reducing smog and greenhouse gas exhaust emissions.
This initiative in “going green” is under the guidance of Global Emissions Systems, Inc. (GESi®), www.gesi.ca, a world leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of emissions control systems for fuel burning engines.
Eric Latino, President and CEO and one of the founders of GESi®, is a regular competitor in the PMRA, and is spearheading this effort with the three drag race series.
“Our goal is going fast and going green,” said Latino. “There are many ways we can follow greener practices at the race track.”
Kenny Lang wins PMRA Pro Modified event during Canadian Nitro Nationals
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (July 5, 2011) – He only came to test out some new equipment, but Pro Modified racer Kenny Lang ended up winning the Pro Modified Racing Association race during the Canadian Nitro Nationals at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
The event was the third in the 2011 PMRA schedule.
And the win was not only Lang’s first in PMRA competition, it was his first in the Pro Modified series.
“We had a good day,” Lang said after his win. “We just came here to test a new converter, started picking away, and stayed with our game plan.”
Lang, from Grand Pointe, Manitoba, is a regular competitor in the Get Screened America Pro Modified Series which competes at NHRA National events. Earlier this year Lang acquired major sponsorship from Summit Racing Equipment, a marketer of high-performance parts and accessories. Lang made history in 2010 at the NHRA Gatornationals in Florida as the first competitor to win an NHRA Pro Modified event and be awarded the coveted “Wally” trophy.
