Pro Modified Racing Association schedules six events in 2009
PMRA Pro Modifieds to be part of IHRA MOPAR Canadian Nationals at Grand Bend Motorplex
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (March 20, 2009) – The Pro Modified Racing Association recently inked its latest date for the upcoming 2009 PMRA Tour.
With a second confirmed date at the Grand Bend Motorplex in Southern Ontario, the PMRA will race six times this year, including a race during the 10th Annual IHRA MOPAR Canadian Nationals.
Three events are scheduled for Cayuga Dragway, one at St. Thomas Dragway, and two at the Grand Bend Motorplex. Four of the events will also feature the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, offering fans a great show of drag racing action.
“We’ve put together an impressive line-up this season,” said PMRA Director of Operations Bruce Mehlenbacher. “The Quick 32 Sportsman Series races will enhance the PMRA racing, offering fans a great racing package. And we are very proud to be able to compete in a PMRA race during the IHRA MOPAR Canadian Nationals at the Grand Bend Motorplex.”
This year will mark the fifth season of PMRA competition.
Racing gets underway May 16-17 for the Fourth Annual Victoria Day Weekend - PMRA Challenge & NAPA Auto Parts Quick 32 Sportsman Series at Cayuga. The Fifth Annual
Family Day PMRA Challenge will be held June 13-14, and then it’s a return to the St. Thomas Dragway in Sparta, Ontario for the PMRA Challenge & NAPA Auto Parts Quick 32 Sportsman Series.
The PMRA Tour then heads to the Grand Bend Motorplex July 17-19 for its next event during the 10th Annual IHRA MOPAR Canadian Nationals.
Then it’s back to the Grand Bend Motorplex for the traditional Labor Day weekend event, the Fourth Annual PMRA Challenge & NAPA Auto Parts Quick 32 Sportsman Series September 5-6.
The season wraps up with its third stop at Cayuga September 19-20 for the PMRA Challenge & NAPA Auto Parts Quick 32 Sportsman Series.
