Boniferro looking forward to Fifth Annual Family Day at Cayuga Dragway

Smokin’ Joe Boniferro always enjoys the PMRA Family Day Pro Mod shootout at Toronto Motorsport Park. He explained, “It was started by my good friend Kasey Janzen, his KC Autoparts name was on the event for many years. It sort of became the unofficial ‘must do’ event that all my friends would come to. This year they will get to see the new Vegas Fuel Canada livery on the car which will be a big change for them. I still do not really associate the new black paint with our Dodge Avenger as it was red and white for so many years. I am really happy for Vegas Fuel Canada that we got off to such a good start to the year. We are due to try something new at TMP and hope we can keep up the impetus and challenge for another PMRA championship.”
Boniferro currently sits third in the 2009 Pro Modified Racing Association title chase behind Ike Maier and Jack Grainy. He was joint Champion with Kasey Janzen in 2006. The Fifth Annual Family Day Weekend Spectacular takes place this weekend, June 13-14, at the Cayuga Dragway. Qualifying begins Saturday at 4:00 pm, and eliminations begin Sunday at 1:00 pm.
The PMRA will headline the two-day event, which will include racing in the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series.
