This document provides guidance to applicants and registrants of pest control products with respect to the fees payable for the examination of applications for pest control products and for the right and privilege to manufacture or sell a pest control product in Canada, and for establishing a maximum residue limit in relation to a pest control product.

The purpose of the Regulations is to revoke the current fee regulations for pest control products and prescribe new user fees for the right and privilege to manufacture or sell pest control products in Canada, for the services provided by the Pest Management Regulatory Programme for the examination of applications for registration of pest control products submitted by applicants, and for establishing pesticide maximum residue limits.
