Sam Andreacchi wins PMRA race at Grand Bend’s Stratford Spectacular
Camaro Pro Modified team successful with new car, while Bruce Boland continues to lead 2012 points race
GRAND BEND, ONTARIO (August 14, 2026) – Driving the Wolf Racing and Andreacchi Motorsports Pro Modified, Sam Andreacchi and team captured their first win of the 2012 Pro Modified Racing Association season during the Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals presented by Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts held at the Grand Bend Motorplex.
The win was the first for the team with their new 1969 Chevy Camaro Pro Modified after the car debuted earlier this year.
“It is good to be back,” noted Andreacchi after his victory. “We’re back on track. We’ve been taking baby steps with the new car, but we’re now comfortable with it.”
Andreacchi, of Toronto, Ontario, qualified the Al Billes Racing 526-cubic inch Brad Anderson (BAE) Supercharged Hemi-powered car to number seven spot on the ladder, and went through the field to meet up with and eliminate Derek Hawker of Corbyville, Ontario in the final round.

GRAND BEND, ONTARIO (August 13, 2026) – There were some new faces in the winners’ circle over the weekend after the running of the Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals presented by Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts drag races held at the Grand Bend Motorplex.
The race was the latest round for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products.
Sam Andreacchi picked up his first win of the season in the PMRA, while Top Dragster driver Melanie Simmons won her first in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and Josie Brooks also won her first event riding in the PBSS.

Drag racing series will hold regular show plus eliminations from postponed event during this popular and anticipated three-day celebration
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (August 10, 2026) – Fans of the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products will get a double-billing of drag racing action this weekend for the popular Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals at the Grand Bend Motorplex.
This race, now a regular stop for on the tour, will be the 18th annual event, and this year will not only feature a regular three-day race schedule, it will also include the elimination rounds from the rain-delayed South Coast Community Weekend event held at Cayuga Dragway last weekend.
Postponed Cayuga Dragway event to take place this weekend at Grand Bend
Rain-delayed eliminations for PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS to be held during Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (August 6, 2026) – While qualifying took place for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products during the South Coast Community Weekend at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park, the eliminations scheduled for the Sunday had to be postponed due to the weather.
It was decided by track and race officials that the elimination rounds for the drag races will take place this coming weekend, August 10-12, during the Stratford Spectacular Hot August Nationals presented by Ideal Supply & NAPA Auto Parts at the Grand Bend Motorplex.

Boland leads PMRA, Wicke and Lichty top Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and Staples heads up PBSS for eliminations Sunday August 5
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (August 4, 2026) – The qualifying rounds in the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products were completed today during the South Coast Community Weekend at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
This is the fourth event for the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the PBSS on the 2012 schedule, and the fifth event for the PMRA.
Heading up the PMRA is Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario with his 1941 Willys Pro Modified. Three-time champion Boland set low time in qualifying with a 6.048-second, 239.74-mph pass. Second is Eric Latino of Whitby, Ontario, posting top speed of 241.76-mph with his 1969 Camaro.
