Bruce Boland returns to PMRA winner’s circle in style at Canadian Nitro Nationals
PMRA Pro Modified champion notches first win of the season at TMP’s Cayuga Dragway over the weekend
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 24, 2026) – The champion is back.
Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario, returned to his winning ways, capturing the Pro Modified Racing Association race during the Canadian Nitro Nationals at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
A three-time PMRA champion, this win was the first for Boland and his 1941 Willys Pro Modified in 2012.
The win was also his series-leading tenth in PMRA competition since the series began racing in 2005.
“This was a perfect weekend,” Boland mentioned after the final round. “We had some clutch issues earlier this year, but that’s all straightened out, and we ran the same tune-up this weekend and all went well.”

Winners declared in PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS over weekend at TMP’s Cayuga Dragway
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 24, 2026) – The third session of the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products was completed today at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park during the track’s Canadian Nitro Nationals.
Three-time PMRA champion Bruce Boland returned to his winning ways capturing the PMRA final, Michael Hinbest drove his Top Dragster to his first win in Quick 32 Sportsman Series racing, and Pete Stewart took another win in the PBSS.
Boland, of Hamilton, Ontario, driving his 1941 Willys Pro Modified, took his first win of the season, defeating Kenny Lang of Grande Point, Manitoba in the final round. Boland also qualified number one for the race with a 6.005-second, 238.05-mph pass, his fourth straight number one qualifying run in PMRA racing.

Eliminations in PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS to be held June 24 at TMP’s Cayuga Dragway
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 23, 2026) – Qualifying in the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products was completed at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
This event, the third in each drag racing series for 2012, was held during the track’s Canadian Nitro Nationals.
Taking the number one spot in and his third of the season in PMRA competition was Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario. Boland, a three-time champion, posted a 6.005-second, 238.05-mph pass with his 1941 Willys Pro Modified. Second in qualifying was Derek Hawker of Corbyville, Ontario, and third was Kenny Lang of Grand Pointe, Manitoba.
Peter Farber of Baldwinville, Massachusetts and Eric Latino of Whitby, Ontario rounded out the top five.

PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS head up major event at TMP’s Cayuga Dragway this weekend
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June, 20, 2012) – The Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products return to racing this weekend for the Canadian Nitro Nationals at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
This will be the third event for each series in the 2012 timetable, and the second time at the popular Kohler Road strip in Cayuga, Ontario.
Expected to make his return to PMRA racing is two-time IHRA Pro Modified champion Kenny Lang of Manitoba with his Summit Racing Equipment-sponsored Camaro, who won this event last year at Cayuga.
Also coming back to PMRA racing is Massachusetts racer Peter Farber. With his 1969 Dodge Daytona-bodied Pro Modified, Farber is one of the top runners in the Eastern US.

Three drag race series part of weekend event at TMP’s Cayuga Dragway
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 14, 2026) – The third event in the 2012 season for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products will take place June 22-24 during the Canadian Nitro Nationals at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
Established in 2004, the PMRA presents the best in Pro Modified drag racing with cars obtaining over 240 mph in under six seconds down the quarter mile. Now in its fourth season, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series matches Top Dragster and Top Sportsman cars competing against each other with the finalists from each side racing to determine an event winner. And the PBSS, in its second season, pits Pro Bike motorcycles with Pro Sled snowmobiles.
