Three race dates confirmed for PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS
Drag racing series to return to US 131 Motorsports Park and the Grand Bend Motorplex for 2013 season

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (October 26, 2025) – The Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products are pleased to announce the confirmation of three race dates on the 2013 calendar.
“We are pleased to have these racing dates locked up already at these first class venues,” noted Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations for all three series. “This demonstrates the trust the tracks have in working with our series in providing some of the best in drag racing action.”

The 2013 season will open with an event at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan May 10 - 11. This will be the second visit to the popular Michigan facility.

Derek Hawker – Third Place
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (October 24, 2025) – A couple of final-round appearances helped Derek Hawker to finish in third place in the 2012 Pro Modified Racing Association Championship Point Award Series presented by Global Emissions Systems Inc..
The Hawker Racing Corvette Sting Ray Pro Modified qualified for all seven PMRA events this season, starting at the Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park in fourth spot and losing in the semi-final round.
For the next three events, at Martin, Michigan, the Nitro Nationals at Cayuga, and the IHRA Nitro Jam weekend at Grand Bend, Hawker, of Corbyville, Ontario, made the show but was taken out in first-round action.
But Hawker and his Corvette went rounds for the next two races. In the South Coast Community Weekend race, Hawker qualified seventh and took out Rob Atchison of London, Ontario, and 2012 PMRA champion Eric Latino of Whitby, Ontario, to meet up in the final with Jay Santos of Halton Hills, Ontario, who took the win over Hawker.

Jeff Roth - Fourth Place
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (October 17, 2025) – For Jeff Roth, his 2012 Pro Modified Racing Association season was a year of ups and downs.
Roth, from New Dundee, Ontario, placed fourth in the PMRA Championship Points Award Series presented by Global Emissions Systems Inc., and started out the year with a bang, qualifying number two at the season opener at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park and winning the event over three-time champion Bruce Boland of Hamilton, Ontario.
It was also during this race the team ran a season best with a 5.999-second pass at 238.34 mph.
The driver of the Roth Racing 1941 Willys Pro Modified made it to the semi-finals at the next event, in Martin, Michigan, but then did not qualify for the third race, held at Cayuga.

Rocky Di Lecce – Fifth Place
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (October 12, 2025) – Taking fifth place in the Pro Modified Racing Association Championship Point Award Series presented by Global Emissions Systems Inc. for 2012 is Rocky Di Lecce of Mississauga, Ontario.
With his 1968 Chevy Camaro-bodied Tim McAmis Race Car and a 526-cubic inch BAE supercharged hemi engine, Di Lecce performed well in his first year of competition, qualifying for all seven PMRA races.
Although he lost in first round action in the first two events, he made it to the semi-final during the Canadian Nitro Nationals at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park, and had a great showing during the IHRA MOPAR Nationals at Grand Bend, qualifying third and going rounds only to lose in the final to winner Eric Latino of Whitby, Ontario.
Di Lecce also ran his best of the season with a 5.99-second, at over 230-mph pass.
