Finals in PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and PBSS drag racing put on hold
Winning rounds from the South Coast Community Weekend at TMP’s Cayuga Dragway to be determined at the track’s upcoming Canadian Nitro Nationals
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 23, 2026) – The final rounds for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series were postponed during the South Coast Community Weekend race on the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
The final rounds will take place at the upcoming Canadian Nitro Nationals at the same track July 12-14. This will complete the third race of the 2013 season for all series.
Once again Rocky Di Lecce led the PMRA in qualifying, and the Mississauga, Ontario driver has a chance of making PMRA history if he wins the race, which would be his third in a row with his Camaro. After making it to the final round today, he will be facing stiff competition with three-time IHRA Funny Car champion Rob Atchison of London, Ontario, who qualified second with his Corvette Pro Modified.

Postponed races completed with Sam Christian winning Quick 32 Sportsman Series and Ted Glinny winning in PBSS
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 22, 2026) – Qualifying rounds were completed Saturday for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
This event, the South Coast Community Weekend, is the third race for all three series this season.
Once again, Rocky Di Lecce of Mississauga, Ontario qualified number one in the PMRA. The Camaro Pro Modified driver, who has won two PMRA races this year, posted a 6.041-second, 240.57-mph pass. Rob Atchison of London, Ontario qualified number two with his Corvette, and Derek Hawker of Corbyville, Ontario qualified number three with his new 1968 Firebird.

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 18, 2026) – The second annual South Coast Community Weekend at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park June 21-23 will offer drag racing fans free admission this Saturday.
And fans will be treated to the next round of Pro Modified Racing Association, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and Pro Bike & Sled Series racing on the Cayuga quarter-mile.
The weekend gets underway this Friday with test and tuning for the three series, and qualifying begins Saturday at 11:00 am and will continue through to the last qualifier at 7:00 pm. Both The Quick 32 Sportsman Series, which is presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the PBSS, presented by Wiseco Performance Products, will hold their postponed rained-out event from Michigan last month with eliminations worked into the Saturday schedule as well as qualifying runs for the present event.

HAMILTON, ONTARIO (June 13, 2026) – Some teething problems with a new car kept Bruce Boland out of contention for the last Pro Modified Racing Association race, but the car and team will be ready for the next round of PMRA action during the South Coast Community Weekend June 21-23 at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
“We were a little too aggressive,” Boland said during the previous meet’s test and tune session last month. “We were not sure what the new car is capable of.”
The new car is a 1963 Corvette-bodied Pro Modified with a supercharged engine courtesy of Engine Research & Development. After competing with the former 1941 Willys for two seasons, the B&B Racing Team believes it has the proper combination in the new Corvette for the next race.

CAYUGA, ONTARIO (June 4, 2026) – The next round of drag racing action for the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products will take place June 21-23 at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park for the track’s annual South Coast Community Weekend.
Jay Santos of Halton Hills, Ontario drove to a PMRA win over Derek Hawker of Corbyville, Ontario in this race last year.
In the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, presented by NAPA Auto Parts, Top Dragster driver Jeff Moser of Bamberg, Ontario, took out Michael Kalin of Niagara Falls, New York while on the Top Sportsman side Dan Aitken Jr of Belle River, Ontario beat Paul Martin of Breslau, Ontario to meet up with Moser in the final, but Moser drover his dragster to victory, his second of the 2012 season.
