Teams also looking to repeat success in International Pro Mod Challenge at the SuperChargers Showdown at Maryland International Raceway
CAYUGA, ONTARIO (September 16, 2025) – The Pro Modified Racing Association is gearing up for a return to Maryland later this month for the second annual International Pro Mod Challenge at the SuperChargers Showdown.
Billed as Canada versus the USA, the PMRA Pro Modifieds will take to the track at Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville, MD for a return showdown with the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association September 26-27.
This is a non-points event. The regular PMRA season has been completed.
And teams from the PMRA are hoping to continue with their success at the event. For the inaugural race, PMRA racers Rocky Di Lecce and Bruce Boland placed one-two against some of the fiercest Pro Modified competition on the Eastern US coast.
While Di Lecce, of Mississauga, Ontario will not return, three-time PMRA champion Boland, of Stoney Creek, Ontario will make the trek to Maryland, along with several repeat and new teams to the international challenge, including other PMRA champions.
With his first PMRA championship under his belt, Jeff Roth will be racing at this event. The 1941 Willys Pro Modified driver from New Dundee, Ontario recently won his first PMRA title. Another champion will be Mike Stawicki of Medina, New York, who captured the PMRA championship in 2010.
Other PMRA teams scheduled to do battle at MIR include Toronto’s Sam Andreacchi, Jason White of Cicero, New York, and Mike Yedgarian of Toronto with his twin-turbo 1968 Firebird.
